Learning Collaborative Programs

Many higher education institutions are facing similar challenges, yet have limited budgets to research market trends, uncover best practices, or meet with peers to discuss successful approaches to common problems. This is where the Learning Collaborative can help.
Eduventures’ Learning Collaborative programs, created for institutions of higher education, provide market and best practices research and analysis focusing on the institutional strategy, operations, and general management issues facing the higher education community. Our research agenda – which is driven by the Learning Collaborative members – focuses on solving our member institutions’ most pressing problems.
Learning Collaborative programs deliver best practices research and analysis through annual programs that serve specific functions or departments at both non-profit and for-profit colleges and universities. Each program charges a fixed annual fee and provides members with in-depth research reports, member meetings, and other supporting research services. Program members work jointly with Eduventures to set the annual research agenda that Eduventures then executes.
Current Learning Collaborative Programs:

  • Online Higher Education - The Learning Collaborative program in Online Higher Education (OHE) helps universities and colleges develop strategy for online education, grow their online enrollments, and make their online operations more efficient and effective. Current members include both large and small, for-profit and not-for-profit institutions, and market leaders and new entrants with operations in the online space.
  • Competing in Higher Education - The Learning Collaborative program in Continuing and Professional Education (CPE) helps universities and colleges identify new revenue and growth opportunities, improve organizational and operational performance, and stay abreast of leading management practices in continuing education. Current members include both large and small schools, market leaders, and new entrants with programs focused on continuing and professional education.
  • Enrollment Management   - The Enrollment Management (EM) program helps colleges and universities develop strategies related to outreach, admissions, matriculation, and retention; identify marketing strategies and tactics; and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their enrollment management operations.
