Courtesy of WGBH, Teachers' Domain Professional Development provides online courses to broaden educators' knowledge of science content and teaching methodologies and help integrate technology into classrooms. Multimedia-rich online courses give teachers new ways to excite their students and facilitate their learning with a vast array of multimedia resources including streaming video of exemplary classroom practices. Each course also draws resources from Teachers' Domain, a free online multimedia library of K-12 science resources correlated to national and state standards. Funded by the National Science Foundation as part of National Science Digital Library, Teachers' Domain includes lesson plans, background essays, and customization features for introducing multimedia resources from PBS programs such as NOVA, ZOOM, A Science Odyssey, and Building Big into the curriculum.
