Soldiers receive up to
$250 per semester hour or 100 percent tuition
assistance, whichever
is less, with an annual ceiling of $4,500. The
Soldier’s first-year tuition ceiling is
reduced by the cost of the selected technology
option. All Soldiers receive an Internet Service
Provider (ISP) account, eArmyU “Boot Camp” tutorial,
an email account, and unlimited access to the
eArmyU Helpdesk. Tuition Assistance also covers
any fees, textbooks, academic advisement and
mentoring, digital library services and electronic
databases, tutoring services, and 24/7 advisement
and technical support.
Colleges and universities
must adhere to specific requirements in order
to participate in eArmyU.
Institutions offering undergraduate certificates,
associate degrees, or bachelor’s degrees
must be members of the Servicemembers Opportunity
Colleges Army Degree (SOCAD) program. Institutions
offering graduate-level degrees and graduate
certificates must be members of Servicemembers
