Job Description:
Promote and monitor development activities and content quality of DL courses at Adelphi. Together with other FCPE members, develop online course elements, such as graphics, sound, and multi-media content. Research, evaluate, and prepare recommendations for curricula, instructional methods, and materials for Adelphi’s DL courses and programs. Lead in researching, testing and advising in the implementation and use of Moodle. Create an online archive for exemplary DL content and activities. Identify strategic areas for pedagogical support and faculty development for DL. Provide distance learning design ideas to faculty in all disciplines. Develop and conduct FCPE workshops

Qualifications:
Excellent teaching skills. Clear and articulate voice to provide support over the phone. Ability to communicate information and ideas orally and in writing so others will understand. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Ability to prioritize workload according to volume, urgency, etc. Ability to create and troubleshoot instructional content with applications such as Blackboard, Moodle, Wimba ,Captivate, Impatica, Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, Softchalk, Studymate, blogs, wikis, Flickr, and others. Master’s Degree plus at least 1 year experience in teaching online preferably in higher education[AU1], curriculum design, and DL content creation.
