Academic Program Director Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program The Campus President, of Institute of Allied Medical Professions invites nominations and applications for the Director of the associate and certificate program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS.) Founded in 1972, IAMP is a specialized college offering nationally Accredited programs of study in nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, radiologic technology and health sciences education to more than 250 students. The College is accredited by the Commission of Independent Education. The Director of the DMS program is responsible for the structure as well as the daily operation of the program, including organization, administration, periodic review and evaluation, continued development, and general effectiveness of program curricula. The program director ensures that a schedule of regular visits to all clinical affiliates/clinical education centers is maintained. The Director of the DMS program will participate in the successful completion of a new academic facility; finalize the curriculum and develop courses for delivery at a distance; Explore specialized accreditation for the new program; recruit and advise students; arrange for clinical study; and participate in strategic planning. The Director will teach DMS courses once the distance education program is activated. This position is available November 30, 2008.
