Large array of online courses with their development funded through the Continuing Education Office and enrollment controlled by that office. What are the bases for reducing the seat-time required as mandated by SUNY for 30 years? That task force recommended to begin modestly with a pilot project. Just one graduate course; the rest are undergraduate. 21 graduate students; the rest are undergraduates. Most of the drops or course withdrawals occurred in lower division courses (200-level); very few in upper division courses and none in our graduate course. Never the less, there were only 37 drops/withdrawals from Hybrid courses which is amounts to 12% of total enrollment; compared to a 13% drop/withdrawal rate overall for the University. It is fair to assume there were no mass-exits from hybrid courses. There were 35,257 registration records for overall by 8,077 students. 62 sections of online courses. There were 1,147 registration records by 844 students. Another change I will make is to create modules that match with each weeks' schedule.
